Artist, Educator, Meredith Dalglish, MFA resides in Portland, OR has been creating art for over 35 years, traveled and worked nationally and internationally. She was born in Bryn Mawr, PA , gradually migrated west as she became an adult. She has been active in the art communities in the locations where she has lived originally focused on ceramics, mixed media sculpture, installation , sound art and now painting. Her work is abstract, colorful, highly energetic, with special designs that pertain to the seasons, as well as the climates of concern. Her work deals with such topics as global warming, light and space art and climates of adversity worldwide. Her newest paintings are fully charged with these issues and have not at times been easy to create. Her newest work is larger and bolder therefore.
